Millennial Reign began as a side project by ASKA guitarist, Dave Harvey. James Guest was recruited as vocalist and members Wayne Stokely (drums) Daniel Almagro (bass) and Jason Donnelly (guitar) were recruited from another local band in the area. Millennial Reign's previous album "Carry The Fire" was released in October of 2015. After the release, Millennial Reign went on to support bands like Sonata Arctica, Leave's Eyes, Omnium Gatherum and Joe Lynn Turner. The band also toured with Stryper on the "To Hell With The Devil" 30th Anniversary tour in late 2016. After the tour finished, Wayne, Daniel and Jason decided to drop out to focus more on their main local project.

Steve Nichols (Solitude Aeturnus, Drums) and Neil Bertrand (When Angels Die, Bass) were recruited as new full members. Rehearsals with the new lineup began for upcoming support shows with Hammerfall, Delain and Theocracy. After the shows were finished, James Guest was unable to continue with the band due to the work load of his commercial construction business.

Travis Wills (Infidel Rising) was recruited for the vocalist position and work immediately began on the new album. More upcoming support shows were booked with Hammerfall, Flotsam & Jetsam, Stryper and also the band is scheduled to perform at Exodo Fest in Tlaxcala, Mexico. Recording of the new album is competely finished and mix and mastering was done by Ty Sims at The Recovery Room Studio in Dallas, Texas. Swedish label, Ulterium Records will release the new album "The Great Divide" May 25th in both Europe and North America.

Fans of powermetal with a symphonic touch will not be disappointed with this album. Millennial Reign should be in any melodic metal collection.
